Kruneri publishes these legal pages so you can see, in plain language, how we handle your details, what our repair terms and warranty rules cover, and which cookies our website sets. The wording below reflects how the workshop on Church Street actually runs, and it replaces any earlier version we may have sent you by email after a repair or a quote.
About these terms
These terms cover every repair, clean or restoration job accepted by Kruneri at 511 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121. Leaving footwear with us means you accept them. If something here does not suit you, raise it before the work starts and we will try to find another arrangement.
Quotes and approval
Counter quotes are estimates made after a visual inspection. Once the old sole or lining comes off, we sometimes find damage that was not visible. In that case we stop and call you with a revised price. You can approve, reduce the scope or cancel at no charge.
Written quotes are held for fourteen days. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Turnaround and collection
We give an estimated collection date when the job is booked. Most repairs finish inside that window. Glue work and lining repairs take longer because of drying and setting time, and we will tell you when that applies.
Please collect within sixty days of the ready message. After that we send a reminder, and after a further ninety days uncollected items may be sold to recover storage and labour costs. We will always try to reach you before that happens.
Payment
Payment is due at collection. We accept card and bank transfer. For posted items we take payment before dispatch. Deposits are not normally required, though large rebuilds and multi pair commercial orders may be quoted with a part payment up front.
What we are responsible for
We stand behind our workmanship. If a stitched seam, a bonded sole or a replaced heel fails in normal wear within six months, bring the pair back and we will fix it at no cost.
We are not responsible for damage that was already present when the item arrived, for fragile or perished materials that fail during handling, or for items left with us beyond the collection period. Our liability is limited to the value of the repair performed.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when your job is booked. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
